A North Shore restaurant known in part for its water views has shut down.
According to multiple sources, Shea's Riverside Restaurant & Bar in Essex is no longer in business, with a note on its website confirming this, saying that it has permanently closed. The Main Street dining spot, which was located on the Essex River in the center of town, offered such food items as fried shrimp, stuffies, oysters, chicken fingers, calamari, a fisherman's platter, swordfish kabobs, filet mignon, seared scallops, baked haddock, rack of lamb, salmon burgers, blackened cod tacos, and more.
The address for the now-closed Shea's Riverside Restaurant & Bar was 122 Main Street, Essex, MA, 01929.
