A local group of Asian restaurants and food trucks known in part for their Vietnamese sandwiches has been joined by a new brick-and-mortar location in Cambridge--and a second one will soon be opening nearby as well.
According to an email, Bon Me is now open on Jacobs Street at Cambridge Crossing, while another one is getting ready to open at 600 Technology Square in Kendall Square. The Cambridge Crossing plans had first been reported last September, and it appears that the Technology Square outlet will be a move from One Kendall Square, based on information from a Cambridge Day article.
Both of these locations of Bon Me have partnered with local upcycling startup ChopValue Boston, which built tables and counters for the restaurants from recycled chopsticks.
