A Japanese restaurant with a familiar name has debuted in Brookline.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Cafe Itadaki is now open in Brookline Village, taking over the space on Harvard Street that had once been home to Pomodoro. A Brookline News article mentions that owner Yujin Hess was also behind Itadaki which had been on Newbury Street in Boston's Back Bay until closing in 2022.
The menu for Cafe Itadaki shows such items as rice balls, curry, sandwiches, ramen, omelets, and more.
The address for Cafe Itadaki is 24 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA, 02445. Its Instagram page can be found at https://www.instagram.com/cafeitadaki.boston/
