A Vietnamese restaurant in Dorchester has shut down, and it looks like a new dining spot will be taking over the space.
According to a Twitter/X post from @WriteHandMan of the Dorchester Reporter, Phuong Nam Restaurant in Fields Corner is no longer in business, with a sign in the window indicating that the Adams Street space has been sold to Pho Que, Inc. and that Daniel Lam (who is apparently behind the upcoming place) is planning to open it on September 1. It it not known for sure if the new restaurant will be called Pho Que, nor is it known what will be on its menu, so stay tuned for updates.
Phuong Nam Restaurant first opened in 2022, taking over the space that had been home to Anh Hong (Anh Hong was subsequently reborn within Pho Hoa on Dorchester Avenue).
The address for the now-closed Phuong Nam Restaurant (and the new restaurant on the way) is 291 Adams Street, Dorchester, MA, 02122.
