Olespana in Watertown Has Closed

A Spanish restaurant that opened a few miles west of Boston a year and a half ago has shut down.

A message sent by Leah Klein of City Living Boston mentions that Olespana in Watertown is no longer in business, with an Instagram post from the Mt. Auburn Street dining spot saying "Bye Bye. We closed for good. Thanks to everyone for your support." Olespana first opened in the former Mt. Auburn Grill space in June of 2023, offering tapas including such items as olives, spicy potatoes, grilled prawns, crispy sardines, pork ears, a baked brie plate, and more.

The address for the now-closed Olespana was 645 Mt. Auburn Street, Watertown, MA, 02472.
