A dining and drinking spot in the southern suburbs of Boston is shutting down after only a short time in business.
According to a Facebook post from the place, The Regal Eagle in Sharon is closing its doors, as the space (which is within the Sharon Heights Shopping Plaza on South Main Street) has been sold. The post mentions that the restaurant/bar will be saying farewell in early April while also saying that "For almost two months we've built a really great crowd of regulars and filled the space with smiling faces. We've appreciated the support, truly, and will miss hanging out with you all! With the NCAA tournament, some live music, and fun hangs still left we hope to spend a little more time together before we close our doors! Thank you!"
The Regal Eagle took over the space where Simcha--which was another restaurant from owner Avi Shemtov--had been.
The address for The Regal Eagle is 370 South Main Street, Sharon, MA, 02067. Its Facebook page can be found at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61569510196913
