It looks like a halal restaurant in Cambridge has shut down, and it is not known whether it could reopen in another location at some point.
According to several sources, Darul Kabab on Massachusetts Avenue just outside of Porter Square has closed, with phone calls place to the business this week not being able to go through. The site in which it resided is planning to be redeveloped, with an apartment building being slated to go up there, according to a Cambridge Day article.
The restaurant, which first opened in 2010, was known for its Bangladeshi, Indian, and Pakistani fare.
The address for the now-closed Darul Kabab was 2072 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA, 02140.
