A new restaurant that resides above a grocery store in a Boston neighborhood has opened after being in the works for quite awhile.
According to a source, The Nightly is now open in Dorchester, moving into a space above The Daily Market in Savin Hill that includes an outdoor patio. The website for the new dining spot mentions that Chef Jeff Fournier is involved with the place, with Fournier previously being behind the now-closed Thompson House Eatery in Jackson, NH, and before that, Waban Kitchen and 51 Lincoln, both of which were in Newton. The menu for The Nightly shows such options as a maki roll, Cuban sandwich, pesto, lasagna, pulled pork, and more.
Plans for The Nightly were first announced more than four years ago, about a year after The Daily Market first opened.
The address for The Nightly is 110 Savin Hill Avenue, Dorchester, MA, 02125. Its website can be found at https://thenightlyboston.com/
