Eastern Edge Food Hall to Open in Cambridge's Kendall Square

A new food hall is on its way to Cambridge.

According to a press release, Eastern Edge is planning to open in Kendall Square in the early part of 2026, moving into a ground-floor space at 290 Main Street on the the eastern edge of the MIT campus. A total of nine food and drink vendors are slated to open in the food hall, including five that have already been announced: Clover (vegetarian/vegan fare), Juicy Jay's (burgers), Perillas (Korean BBQ), Everybody Gotta Eat (fried chicken), and Viet Citron (Vietnamese). The space will span an entire city block and will have seating for 275, and it will also include two bars that offer beer, wine, and cocktails--and a Venetian-style cafe and bar will serve artisanal coffee, Italian pastries, and lighter fare during the day while being a wine bar at night.

Gather Group, which is a subsidiary of the Alabama-based Ithaka Hospitality Partners, is behind Eastern Edge.
