Early last year, it was reported that a well-known local chef and restaurateur was planning to open a new dining spot in Boston, and now we have learned that it is just about ready to debut.
According to an Instagram post from the business, SJ's is slated to open its doors at Atlantic Avenue in the city's Leather District on Tuesday, November 4, with the post saying "See you for lunch, can't wait to share our 'Good Food, Done Well' with you!" As mentioned in an earlier article, Sarah Wade (Stillwater in downtown Boston, Sloane's in Allston) is behind the restaurant, and while little information has been posted about the place on its website, Boston Magazine states that while "the other two spots lean in the direction of Southern-inspired comfort food...SJ's goes a little more eclectic and upscale with neighborhood-bistro vibes."
Back in 2018, Sarah Wade won the Food Network's Chopped Gold Medal Games.
The address for SJ's is 745 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, MA, 02111. Its website is at https://www.sjsboston.com/
