It looks like a pair of dining and drinking spots known in part for their comfort food and beer options will be expanding to a third location, and this one will reside in a Boston neighborhood a bit south of downtown.
According to a licensing board hearing page within the city's website, Five Horses Tavern is looking to open in the Savin Hill section of Dorchester, moving into a space on Dorchester Avenue just south of the Savin Hill Avenue intersection. This jibes with an earlier article from the Boston Business Journal which first mentioned the plans, while the hearing notice states that the space would include a main dining area and a bar area, and it looks like an outdoor patio may be part of the plans as well. If approved, the new location of Five Horses Tavern will join others in Somerville's Davis Square and Boston's South End.
