Sami's Wrap 'n' Roll Opens in Jamaica Plain

A new restaurant with a familiar name has just opened in Jamaica Plain.

According to various reports (including posts on Chowhound and Yelp), Sami's Wrap 'n' Roll is now open for business on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain, bringing to the neighborhood a place to get Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (although it appears that only lunch is being served for the time being - breakfast and dinner should follow soon, but call in advance to check). Based on the new restaurant's website, items on the menu at Sami's in Jamaica Plain include a variety of wraps (hummus, falafel, shawarma, kafta, etc.) for lunch; omelets, pancakes, French toast, and Belgian waffles for breakfast (when it starts being served); and chicken, lamb, seafood, and vegetarian plates for dinner (again, once it starts being served).

Sami's first started out in the late 1970s in the Longwood Medical District of Boston. Currently, they have two locations in that area, including a food cart on Avenue Louis Pasteur and a restaurant within the Longwood Galleria.

The address for this new restaurant in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston is: Sami's Wrap 'n' Roll, 654 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA, 02130. The website is at http://samisatjp.com/
