A few brief updates on more new restaurants in the Boston area:
It looks like a Mexican restaurant called La Posada will apparently be moving into the spot on Mass. Ave. in Arlington Heights where the restaurant section of Something Savory used to be (Something Savory is still open as a caterer). Very little is know about this restaurant as of now, but we're working on getting some updates on the place. Thanks to both a poster on our Facebook fan page and a person who works in the neighborhood for letting us know about La Posada.
A restaurant and bar on Atlantic Avenue in Marblehead called Flynnies on the Avenue is being replaced by a new spot called the Ataraxis Tavern. According to another one of our Facebook posters, the new restaurant and watering hole will feature comfort food, and may be opening this weekend. According to a selectmen's minutes page on the Marblehead Reporter/Wicked Local site, hours for the Ataraxis Tavern will be 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM seven days a week.
It appears that Wakefield is home to a new BBQ spot. According to one of our sources, CnDs Barbeque Grille recently opened on Water Street, bringing to this northern suburb of Boston a place for pulled pork, chicken wings, ribs, and more. Located just east of Main Street (by the railroad tracks) in the center of Wakefield, CnDs Barbeque Grille looks to be a small spot that focuses on takeout.
Thanks to everyone who helped up piece this article together. Again, as we receive updates, we'll be sure to post them here.
