Based on information given on a number of online job posts (including one on the Craigslist site), Primebar Grill is going to be opening on Boston Post Road (Route 20), replacing Luigi's Italian Grille, which closed last week. It appears that Primebar Grill will be an upscale restaurant, possibly with American fare, though we are still waiting to see a menu for the place.
The now-closed Luigi's in Wayland had been part of a local restaurant group that is behind such eateries as Grassfields in Waltham, Danvers, and Andover, Jimmy's Steer House in Arlington and Saugus, and Cafe Luigi in Bedford. Several sources have mentioned that the new restaurant moving into the old Luigi's spot in Wayland might be connected with this group, but the job posts state that Primebar Grill will be privately owned and operated.
