It looks like a new outdoor cafe could be on its way to Copley Square in the Back Bay of Boston.
According to the Boston Business Journal, the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel on St. James Avenue is looking to get approval for a seasonal cafe that would have a capacity of just under 30. The article mentions that plans for the 480-square-foot cafe will be presented to Boston's Public Improvement Commission on Thursday, February 23.
Currently, the Fairmont Copley is going through extensive renovations, including an overhaul of the Oak Room, which is a high-end steakhouse within the hotel.
The address for the proposed cafe (and the hotel) is 138 Saint James Avenue, Boston, MA, 02116. The website for the hotel can be found at http://www.fairmont.com/copleyplaza
