A tasting event that raises money for the fight against hunger among children returns to Boston this spring.
Share our Strength will be bringing Taste of the Nation Boston to The Hynes Convention Center on Boylston Street in Boston's Back Bay on Thursday, April 19 starting at 7:00 PM (6:00 VIP), and as always, a number of local restaurants will be taking part in the event. More than 70 dining spots, along with 30 wineries, will be at Taste of the Nation this year, and there will also be specialty cocktails, a silent auction and live entertainment. For those who wish to purchase a VIP ticket, guests will be allowed early access to the event, a raw bar, specialty cocktails, a VIP raffle and a separate seating section.
Tickets to the 2012 Taste of the Nation Boston cost $90 in advance ($105 at the door) for general admission and $150 in advance ($165 at the door) for VIP admission. All proceeds go to Share Our Strength, a national nonprofit organization whose goal is to end childhood hunger in the United States.
