A festival that features a couple of food/drink items that are loved by many is returning to the Boston area next month.
According to Eat Boston, the 2012 Boston Bacon and Beer Festival will be held at an as-of-yet undisclosed location on Saturday, April 28. The event will focus on bacon-based dishes from a number of restaurants and food purveyors along with beer from local breweries, and proceeds from the festival will be going to the hunger relief organizations Lovin' Spoonfuls and Community Servings.
Last year's Boston Bacon and Beer Festival was held at Royale, a nightclub complex on Tremont Street in the Theatre District. (As soon as we find out where this year's event will be, we will post an update here--Eat Boston mentions that details on the festival will be out in a couple of weeks.)
