Tenoch in Medford (and Soon, Boston) Is Setting Up a Food Truck

Last month we mentioned that the person behind a Mexican restaurant in Medford was going to be opening a second place in Boston's North End. Now we have learned that he has some other plans in the works as well.

Grub Street Boston is reporting that Alvaro Sandoval of Tenoch on Riverside Avenue is looking to set up a food truck that will be at the SoWa Open Market in the South End of Boston, with plans also in the works to be at a permanent location apparently somewhere in or around Boston during lunch hours on weekdays. GS says that the truck, which could be up and running later this spring or early in the summer, will be limited to tortas.

[June 3 update: According to their website, Tenoch's food truck is now up and running, and it is called the "Tenoch Móvil food trailer." For now, the truck can be found in Burlington on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. (Thanks to a poster on the Chowhound site for bringing this to our attention.)]

The website for Tenoch can be found at http://www.tenochmexican.com/
