Jimmy John's Opens in Watertown

An Illinois-based chain of gourmet sandwich shops has just opened another store in the Boston area.

According to a Facebook post, Jimmy John's is now open in Watertown, with the Mt. Auburn Street eatery apparently opening its doors on Monday. The new shop joins others in Boston (Park Drive by Audubon Circle, Valenti Way near North Station, and Western Avenue in Allston-Brighton), Quincy, Salem, Waltham, and South Braintree.

Jimmy John's, which was established in Charleston, IL in 1983, offers a mix of subs and club sandwiches.
