The Brook Kitchen and Tap Opens in Former Halfway Cafe/Lucky Lou Lou's Space in Holbrook

A brand new restaurant has opened in the space where a location of a local group of family-friendly dining spots had once been.

According to a source, The Brook Kitchen and Tap is now open in Holbrook, taking over the space where the Halfway Cafe had been until last fall, when the people behind the Halfway changed it to Lucky Lou Lou's. Based on the menu shown on its website, it looks like The Brook is focusing on American classics, comfort food, and pub grub, listing such items as chili, wings, clam chowder, burgers, pulled pork, grilled pizza, meat loaf, steak tips, chicken pot pie, and a seafood casserole.

Locations of the Halfway Cafe remain open in Canton, Dedham, Marlborough, Maynard, and Watertown.

The address for this new restaurant in Holbrook is: The Brook Kitchen and Tap, 200 S Franklin Street (Route 37), Holbrook, MA, 02343. The website for the place is at http://www.brookkitchenandtap.com/
