BostInno is reporting that Backlash Beer Co. is planning to open in a space on Hampden Street in Roxbury (between Newmarket Square and Dudley Square) that used to be a piano factory, with the company setting up a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for the place. Up until now, Backlash has been making its beers at other breweries in the local area, but now with a space of its own close to become reality, not only will it have its own spot for brewing beer, but it will also have a taproom with local music and art as well.
Backlash Beer Co. first started out in Holyoke in the summer of 2011, according to an Eater Boston post.
