Grille Zone, a burger joint on Commonwealth Avenue in Boston, shut its doors on January 26. Only open for about 6 months, Grille Zone had received a number of positive reviews by both dining crtitics and folks who frequent local restaurant forums. Unique in dedication to being a "green" company, Grille Zone attempted to minimize waste by using compostable plates and cups and recycling as many items as possible. They also offered customers healthy, fresh food that was often from local sources, and used oil with no trans fats.
