The House of Blues is returning to the Boston area.
Several Landsdowne Street clubs across from Fenway Park that are currently being renovated, including Axis and Avalon, will be merged into a huge complex with the House of Blues name attached to it. The clubs should be open by the end of 2008.
The House of Blues used to have a location in the Boston area, in the Harvard Square section of Cambridge. It closed down in September, 2003 after more than 10 years of entertaining music lovers with some of the top blues performers in the country.
