Latest Review: Virgilio's Echo Bridge Restaurant, Newton
The latest review on the Boston's Hidden Restaurants Web site is for a neighborhood townie spot in the Newton Upper Falls section of Newton called Virgilio's Echo Bridge Restaurant. Located on Chestnut Street in the heart of this charming old working- and middle-class Newton neighborhood, Virgilio's Echo Bridge Restaurant is a classic neighborhood dining spot and watering hole, complete with wood paneling, vinyl booths, and good food, cheap. The pizza at Virgilio's is one of the main draws here, as it is an excellent thin-crust pie that is bigger than your typical individual bar pizza.
