A new restaurant and bar is opening as soon as this week in Maynard, and the owner is very well known in the Boston area.
According to the The MetroWest Daily News, former Boston Celtics guard Jo Jo White is behind the opening of Jo Jo's West, a sports bar and restaurant that is going into the spot on Route 62 where Christopher's Restaurant and Wine Bar used to be. The Boston Herald mentions that this will be the first of three restaurants that Jo Jo White will open, with others possibly opening in Boston and Saugus this year.
