An Indian restaurant is opening in Wellesley, moving into a spot where an Italian restaurant used to be until recently. According to the
Wellesley Townsman Blog, which is part of the Wicked Local site, Singh's Cafe will be opening on Route 16 in Wellesley Hills (just southwest of the Route 9 intersection). The new restaurant will replace Vela, a contemporary Italian restaurant that closed this past summer. According to the Townsman, the owners of the Kebab Factory on Kirkland Street in Somerville will also be involved with Singh's Cafe. [November 5 Update: Singh's Cafe is now open.]
Hours for Singh's Cafe are 11:30 AM to 11:00 PM seven days a week. The restaurant also has a buffet from 11:30 to 3:00 daily.
