Locke-Ober, a popular old-school Boston restaurant that has been serving food to folks for more than 100 years, is going to be serving lunch once again, according to an article in the Boston Herald. This past winter, the Downtown Crossing dining spot stopped serving lunch due to economic conditions, but had said that lunch would return at some point. The Herald mentions that lunch will return to Locke-Ober on Monday, November 2.
Locke-Ober, which first opened in 1875, features mostly American fare, including chicken, steak, lamb, pork, and seafood entrees. The restaurant also has a raw bar.
