A Burger Bash to Benefit Autism Speaks Is Being Held February 1, 2010

A food-based event to benefit the country's largest autism science and advocacy organization is coming to Boston at the beginning of February.

According to the Tripvine site, the KO Prime All Star Burger Bash will be held in the Nine Zero Hotel on Tremont Street in downtown Boston on Monday, February 1. The event, which will benefit Autism Speaks, is a burger contest between some of the Boston area's top chefs, including Ken Oringer and Josh Buehler (KO Prime), Andy Husbands (Tremont 647), Jamie Bissonette (Toro and Coppa), Michael Schlow (Radius and Via Matta), and several others.

Tripvine mentions that the judging of the burgers will be done by event guests as well as culinary writers/authors Andrew Rimas and J. Kenji Lopez-Alt.

Tickets to the KO Prime All Star Burger Bash are $25 (update--as stated above, this event is SOLD OUT). The event will take place from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
