Jake n Joes Is Opening in Norwood

It looks like a new restaurant will be opening in Norwood, moving into a space on that has been vacant for several years. According to notes from a Board of Selectmen's meeting, Jake n Joes is going to open on Route 1 where the Ground Round used to be, a short distance north of the Nahatan Street/Neponset Street intersection. The notes from the meeting indicate that Jake n Joes will be a full-service restaurant, and they are hoping to serve liquor there at some point. Based on the notes, Jake n Joes may be open by the spring.

[June 18 update: According to a poster on the Chowhound site, Jake n Joes may be opening today. As soon as we get confirmation of this, we will post another update here.]
