Cooking for a Cause to Be Held in Boston on March 25, 2010

A culinary event to benefit a Cambridge community center and social service agency is coming to Boston later this month. According to a press release sent to us by Clearly Creative Marketing, the seventh annual Cooking for a Cause will be held at the Harborview Ballroom in the Seaport World Trade Center on Thursday, March 25 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The charity event will benefit the East End House Community Center, a not-for-profit, multi-service social service center that dates back to 1875.

A number of well-known chefs from the Boston area, including culinary chair Rachel Klein of Aura in Boston's Seaport District and wine chair and sommelier Geoffrey Fallon of Ginger Park in the South End, will be participating in Cooking for a Cause. Boston-area mixologists will also be on hand for guests who are looking for cocktails, while specialty vendors will offer desserts and coffee. A silent and live auction will take place as well.
