Uno Chicago Grill Closes in Porter Square, Cambridge

A location of a restaurant chain that features Chicago deep-dish pizza has closed its doors after being in business for more than 20 years. A note sent to us by Uno Chicago Grill states that they have closed their restaurant in the Porter Square section of Cambridge, though their Harvard Square location remains open (there was some initial confusion as to whether the Porter Square spot had indeed closed).

As reported here earlier, the Boston-based Uno chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this winter and closed some Massachusetts locations (including Fairhaven, Kingston, and Methuen), though the majority of their restaurants in the state have remained open.
