It looks like a nonprofit organization is going to be hosting a restaurant day south of Boston this April. According to the Braintree Forum and Wicked Local, the Dianne DeVanna Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect is looking to have a DeVanna Center Restaurant Day on Wednesday, April 21. The article mentions that the organization is going to try to get restaurants from Braintree, Holbrook, Quincy, Randolph, and Weymouth to take part in this event, with the hope being that at least 20 dining spots participate and that 10 percent of the cost of each meal can be donated to the Center that day.
The Dianne DeVanna Center for Prevention of Child Abuse, which was founded in 1978, is located on Pond Street in Braintree.
