Cafe Rialto Opens in Roslindale

A new Italian restaurant has come to Roslindale, moving into the space where another Italian eatery used to be until closing last year.

According to the Thrillist site, Cafe Rialto has just opened on Washington Street along the northern edge of Roslindale Village, replacing the Square Corner Cafe, which was a sub, pizza, and pasta place that shut down in the spring of 2009. The 40-seat restaurant will be offering salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, calzones, and pizza, and will also have a bar with more than 20 beers available, according to Thrillist.
