It looks like a burger place in the Harvard Square section of Cambridge is going to be moving to a new space nearby.
According to the Harvard Crimson, Flat Patties is planning a move from its current location in The Garage at the corner of JFK Street and Mount Auburn Street to the spot on Brattle Street where the children's clothing store Calliope resided until closing in 2009. The article mentions that the new location for Flat Patties will include outdoor seating and that there will be some minor changes to the menu (they will continue to offer scratch-made griddled burgers, however).
According to one of our Facebook fans (thanks to Holly for the heads-up on this, by the way), Flat Patties has apparently already shuttered their location in The Garage. Based on the information in the Crimson article, it appears that they could be reopening in their new spot sometime later this spring. (We will post updates here as we get them.)
[May 17 update: According to the Harvard Crimson blog, Flat Patties is now open in its new location on Brattle Street.]
