A small local chain of Italian restaurants has gotten smaller, as its locations in Lexington and Danvers have shut their doors.
According to a poster on Yelp, Vinny T's recently closed in Lexington (a call placed to the Lexington restaurant indicated that the phone number is now out of service). We also received an email from one of our readers, telling us that the Danvers location of Vinny T's has closed as well. A call placed to the Dedham location has confirmed this.
With the Back Bay location of Vinny T's closing late in 2009, this means that the only location in the Boston area that remains open is the one on Elm Street in Dedham.
The now-closed Vinny T's in Lexington had been located on Waltham Street in the center of town, while the shuttered location in Danvers had been located on Independence Way at the Liberty Tree Mall.
[June 11 update: According to the Worcester Telegram and Gazette, the Vinny T's chain is now up for sale. The article states that it looked like the chain had actually been sold this past Monday (June 7), but the sale did not end up going through, so Vinny T's is back on the market.]
