Bastile Day Celebration Being Held in Cambridge July 11, 2010

A block party returns to Harvard Square in Cambridge this weekend, with food, beer, music, and more.

According to the Harvard Square Business Association website, Bastille Day will be held Sunday (July 11, 2010) on Holyoke Street in the heart of the square, with the event commencing at 2:00 PM and lasting until 10:00 PM. The celebration, which is free and open to the public, will include French food from such area eateries as Sandrine's Bistro, Casablanca, Chez Henri, Finale Desserterie, Rialto, Savenor's, and Sweet Cupcakes. There will also be a beer garden, and entertainment will include music from French bands, dancing, a waiters' race, and children's events.
