A takeout restaurant featuring a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches is now open in one of the busiest corners of Boston.
According to The Boston Globe, Cheeseboy opened yesterday within the South Station concourse on Atlantic Avenue at the edge of the Financial District. Based on the menu on the dining spot's website, the new place offers commuters (and others) custom-made grilled cheese sandwiches in addition to three signature sandwiches (a classic, a cheddar cheese sandwich with rye bread, and a "healthy melt" with multigrain bread and light Swiss cheese). The custom sandwiches at Cheeseboy allow diners to choose from four types of bread, five types of cheese, four meat toppings, and seven veggie options. In addition to grilled cheese sandwiches, the restaurant also features soups, snacks, desserts, soda, and coffee.
The Globe article mentions that a pilot Cheeseboy restaurant opened in Milford, Ct, last fall.
The address for this new takeout restaurant at South Station is: Cheeseboy, 720 Atlantic Avenue (South Station Train Concourse), Boston, MA, 02110. The phone number is (617) 737-4600. And their website can be found at: http://cheeseboy.com/
