According to the Somerville Scout, True Cafe will be opening on Broadway where the Teele Square Cafe used to be until shutting its doors this past June. The article mentions that the new 29-seat eatery will feature vegan dishes as well as beer and wine. The restaurant's website shows the menu including such items as an arugula salad, portobello mushroom panini, Green curry with tofu, black bean and plantain torte, ravioli filled with red chard and house nut cheese, and coconut cream pie.
True Cafe will be open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday, and it looks like it will also have a weekend brunch.
[November 7 update: According to the restaurant's website, True Bistro will open its doors on Tuesday, November 9. Thanks to a poster on the Chowhound site for bringing this to our attention.]
