The folks who have brought two "pop-up" restaurants to the Boston area over the past couple of months are at it again, this time bringing a special pop-up restaurant to a chocolate factory in Somerville just in time for Valentine's Day weekend.
According to the wheretoeat.in website, Taza Chocolate on Windsor Street (between Union Street in Somerville and Inman Square in Cambridge) will be the site of a third pop-up restaurant from chef Will Gilson of Garden at the Cellar in Cambridge and Aaron Cohen of Eat Boston. This event will take place over a three-day period, from Friday, February 11, through Sunday, February 13, and will include a five-course, chocolate-themed, prix fixe menu. Included will be such items as spice roasted squash "chocolate kiss" with pistachio; buttered leeks and braised duck, black truffle and chestnut soup with white chocolate; and marinated lamb with cocoa nib jus, whipped potato, French curry and cabbage dolma.
Ticket prices for each of the three days are $70, which includes meal, tax, and gratuity.
Earlier pop-up restaurants included one at Bloc 11 in Somerville earlier this month, and another within Mohr & McPherson in the South End of Boston in November.
