A cafe with three locations in Quincy and one in Braintree is closing its Braintree location after about a decade in business.
According to their Facebook page, the Coffee Break Cafe on Pearl Street near South Braintree Square is shutting down at the end of the day on Sunday. The note on the page mentions that their lease is up and they are apparently not going to renew the lease. Their other locations in Quincy (in North Quincy, Wollaston, and Quincy Center) will remain open.
The Coffee Break Cafe first started out in the mid-1990s, gradually expanding over the years to its four stores south of Boston today. The cafes feature coffee, tea, hot chocolate, frozen drinks, bagels, and muffins.
