An Irish pub with roots in Florida is opening in downtown Boston.
According to UrbanDaddy, Four Green Fields is planning to open today at the corner of Washington Street and Court Street, just south of City Hall Plaza. This will be the second location of the restaurant, with the original being in Tampa. The UrbanDaddy article mentions that the new eatery will have a capacity of 220 and two floors of seating, along with a thatched roof inside the place. Four Green Fields will feature a raw bar, along with such items as Gaelic empanadas, smoked salmon spread, chowder, a corned beef reuben, ham and cheese on soda bread, burgers, Irish stew, fish and chips, and shepherd's pie. The drink list includes Guinness, Harp, Smithwick's, and Murphy's for beers, and several varieties of red and white wine.
