A new restaurant and bar is coming to the North End of Boston, and it will feature a mix of American comfort food classics and Italian fare.
According to The Boston Herald, the person behind Ristorante Damiano on Hanover Street is planning to open Vito's Tavern on Salem Street in April. The NorthEndWaterfront.com site mentions that Vito's will open where Eclano had been, and the space will have a capacity of 68. It appears that Vito's Tavern will be a casual spot, with such items as burritos, burgers, wings, pasta dishes, fish and chips, and steak offered, as well as beer and wine. Prices generally look to be $20 and under for appetizers and meals, according to the Herald.
