2011 Boston Bacon and Beer Festival to Be Held April 30

For those of you who missed your chance to go to last year's Boston Bacon and Beer Festival, you'll have another chance next month.

According to the wheretoeat.in site, the 2011 Boston Bacon and Beer Festival is going to be held on Saturday, April 30 at Royale, a nightclub complex on Tremont Street in the Theatre District. The event, which will run from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, will feature bacon-based dishes from a variety of restaurants and food purveyors, as well as beer from breweries around the region. Some of the food places expecting to be at the event include b.good, Casablanca, Eat at Jumbo's, The Independent, KO Prime, La Laiterie, Petit Robert Bistro, Roxy's Grilled Cheese Truck, Seasons to Taste, South End Buttery, Vermont Smoke and Cure, and Whole Foods Market (Symphony). Breweries that look to be participating include Blue Hills Brewery, Cape Ann Brewing Company, Long Trail, Mayflower Brewing Company, Mercury Brewing Company, Peak Organic Brewing Co., Smuttynose Brewing Co., and Wachusett Brewing Company.

Tickets to this 21+ event go on sale Friday, April 1. Please note that proceeds from the event go to the hunger relief organizations Community Servings, Lovin' Spoonfuls, and Share our Strength.
