Boston Kabob Company Opens in Allston

A Middle Eastern restaurant has opened in Allston, moving into the space where a dim sum spot had been until closing last summer.

According to a poster on our Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook page as well as several posters on Yelp, Boston Kabob Company is now open on Brighton Avenue, taking over the former Gitlo's spot (Gitlo closed in August of 2010 after being in business for a bit less than three years). Based on Yelp posts, the new eatery features such items as kabobs, freshly-made pita, hummus, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, and falafel.

The Yelp page for Boston Kabob Company indicates that the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
