Hoshi Ya Opening in Brighton

A Japanese restaurant is opening in Brighton, moving into a space between Oak Square and Brighton Center.

According to their website, Hoshi Ya will open on Washington Street (apparently in the spot where Select Market used to be), bringing to the neighborhood a place to get sushi and a variety of other Japanese dishes. Based on their online menu, Hoshi Ya will feature sushi, sashimi, maki, katsu, noodle dishes, teriyaki, and tempura. Bento boxes will also be available, as well as four different types of party trays.

Hoshi Ya, which appears to be on the verge of opening its doors for business, will be open for dinner from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Sundays. [Please note that one of the website's pages has them being only open for dinner and the another showing it being open for both lunch and dinner. If it does open for lunch, the hours will apparently be 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM daily.]

The address for this new Japanese restaurant in Brighton is: Hoshi Ya, 529 Washington Street, Boston, MA, 02135. The website can be found at http://www.hoshiyaboston.com/
