BrickYard Pizzeria and Burger Bar Opening in Woburn

A new restaurant features two floors of dining and drinking is coming to Woburn, and it looks like it will be focusing on pizza and burgers.

According to their Facebook page, the BrickYard is planning to open on Main Street in Woburn Center (across from the rotary) in early May. Based on the sign shown out front, the new eatery will be a combination pizzeria/burger bar. It is not known at this time what else might be on the menu at the BrickYard; as soon as we get a peek at the menu, we will post an update here.

[April 25 update: According to The Woburn Patch, the BrickYard will be serving appetizers and small plates in addition to pizza and burgers, and it will also have 20 different beers available. The Patch article, which mentions a May 3 opening for the restaurant, states that the eatery will have a dining area on the first floor with views of a plaza and waterfall, and the basement will have a spacious lounge. The article also mentions that one of the partners of the BrickYard is the owner of the nearby Tre Monte restaurant.]

[May 8 update: According to their Facebook page, BrickYard Pizzeria and Burger Bar will be opening on Monday, May 9.]

The address for this new restaurant in Woburn Center is: BrickYard Pizzeria and Burger Bar, 371 Main Street, Woburn, MA, 01801. Their Facebook page can be found at

Thanks to both The Passionate Foodie and a poster on Chowhound for bringing this to our attention.

I am sitting at the bar waiting for a drink while I write this review. This is the third drink I've ordered. The first drink tasted like gasoline and I only ordered it because when I asked for the drink menu, Old Man River told me he had the drink menu in his head. The drink he recommended and took ten minutes to measure out was terrible. I then played it safe and ordered a Sam Summer. He told
me they were changing it now and would check. After eating my whole meal and not been addressed, I grabbed his attention and asked for a Bud Light instead. He just came up to me and asked me if I ordered a drink? Seriously? I sit here waiting, "three beers" deep and only one sip taken. Aside from the drink service, the food was okay. Not times well with other dishes ordered with mine, but I can handle that. Could have done without the eye roll when I asked for ketchup-but I honestly didn't expect much more out of this bartender. Hopefully, they will shape up some of their staff-because it is actually a really cute place for dinner or to watch the game.
