Dining Out for Life to Be Held in the Boston Area on April 28, 2011

An international HIV/AIDS fundraiser returns to the Boston area this month, and once again, a number of local restaurants will be participating.

According to the event's website, Dining Out for Life will be held on Thursday, April 28, with participating restaurants donating 25% of customers' bills to the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts to help provide HIV/AIDS care and prevention services to people in the Boston area and beyond. Some of the restaurants that will be taking part in the event include Bosphorus in Cambridge, Canary Square in Jamaica Plain, Friendly Toast in Cambridge, The Hyde in Hyde Park, Picante Mexican Grill in Cambridge, Savinos Grill in Belmont, and Tasca in Brighton.

Dining Out for Life first started out in 1991 and is now held in 55 cities in the United States and Canada. The event raised more than $3 million last year.
