A new Mexican restaurant is coming to Waltham, and it will be moving into the space where another Mexican dining spot had been.
According to a poster on Chowhound, Habanero's Mexican Kitchen is going to be opening on Moody Street where Tango Mango used to be. (It appears that the Newton location of Tango Mango remains open.) A call placed to the space indicates that Habanero's is indeed moving in, and the Chowhound poster mentions that the new restaurant is planning to open in May as a full-service restaurant and bar.
Tango Mango first opened in this spot back in the spring of 2009, replacing the Hungry Coyote and joining the original Tango Mano, which is located on Centre Street in Newton Centre.
[July 20 update: According to a job post within the Craigslist site, the opening of Habanero's Mexican Kitchen is "right around the corner."]
[September 15 update: A post on their Facebook page indicates that Habanero's Mexican Kitchen is looking to open its doors for business at 4:00 PM today.]
