According to their website, D'Amici's Bakery is now open on Main Street in Melrose. The new location is the largest of the three, with a full coffee bar along with indoor and outdoor seating. Like the other two bakeries, D'Amici's looks to offer breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, pies, sandwiches, and more.
A Melrose Free Press/Wicked Local article mentions that the new D'Amici's has actually been operating without a common victualler's license since opening earlier this month, but the place should be getting one this week. (The city apparently allowed them to remain open because all inspections had been made and the owner was in the process of getting all the needed paperwork ready for the permit.)
D'Amici's takes over the spot where Melrose Drug used to be, according to the Melrose Free Press and Wicked Local.
