A new farm-to-table restaurant is opening south of Boston, and the group behind a couple of dining spots in Boston and Brookline are also behind this place.
According to a couple of job posts within the Craigslist site, Rye Tavern plans to open at The Pinehills, a massive planned community in Plymouth that is centered around two award-winning golf courses. The Craigslist posts mention that Rye Tavern is the latest project from Dramshop Hospitality, which is also behind Church on Kilmarnock Street in the Fenway section of Boston and the Regal Beagle in Brookline's Coolidge Corner (as well as the Union Fish in Plymouth). The new dining spot looks to feature seasonal offerings using sustainable, local ingredients, and the place will apparently have a weekend brunch.
A Wicked Local Plymouth article mentions that Rye Tavern will be taking over the space where Martha's Stone Soup used to be.
Pinehills is just off Route 3 (Exit 3 - Clark Road), about 40 miles south of downtown Boston. The street address for Rye Tavern is: Rye Tavern, 517 Old Sandwich Road, Plymouth, MA, 02360. Their Facebook page can be found at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Rye-Tavern/186414504738557
Expect a June opening for Rye Tavern. [June 24 update: According to their Facebook page, Rye Tavern is opening tonight.]
